Who we are
plastiktour.ca is operated by Tour Plastique (Plastik Tour Canada), NEQ 2276576198, and by Plastik Tour S.A.S., NIT 901751420-0 (“Plastik Tour”, “we”, “us”). By using this site or our services you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
Plastik Tour is a travel concierge service. We do not give medical advice. We are not a hospital, clinic or health professional, and nothing we say or write is medical advice.
What our service is
Our concierge service helps international patients plan and organize a trip for plastic surgery or other medical care in Medellín, Colombia. Depending on what you choose, we can:
- introduce you to independent surgeons and clinics from our network, after we check them against the criteria on our vetting page;
- coordinate appointments, virtual calls, translation and communication between you and the providers you choose;
- organize travel logistics such as airport pick-ups, local transport and accommodation, including our Recovery House in El Poblado;
- explain how the process works and answer questions about our service.
Our service is administrative and logistical. It is not a medical service.
No medical advice, no doctor–patient relationship
We do not diagnose, examine, treat or give medical advice. We do not recommend a procedure, a surgeon, a treatment plan, medication or the timing of travel for your health. Our team, our website, our guides, our prices pages and any automated assistant provide general information only, and none of it replaces a consultation with a qualified surgeon or your own doctor.
Whether you are a candidate for a procedure, which procedure is right for you and what it will cost in the end are decided only by your surgeon, after evaluating you. The doctor–patient relationship is between you and the health professional who treats you, never with Plastik Tour. See our Medical Disclaimer.
Surgeons, clinics and other providers
Surgeons, clinics, hospitals, laboratories and other health providers are independent professionals and businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners in providing care, and they decide and carry out your treatment under their own professional responsibility.
Before introducing a surgeon, we check the items listed on our vetting page, such as registration in Colombia’s public registry of health professionals. These checks are administrative. They are not a guarantee of any surgeon’s skill, of your results or of a particular standard of care.
You contract directly with each provider. The provider is responsible for explaining the risks and alternatives, for obtaining your informed consent and for your medical care. We may help translate or pass on messages, but we don’t consent on your behalf and we don’t supervise or control the care.
Your responsibilities
- Give us and your providers accurate and complete information, including your health history, medications, allergies and previous surgeries. Incomplete or inaccurate information can put your health at risk.
- Check with your own doctor at home whether you are fit to have surgery and to travel, and arrange follow-up care for when you return home.
- Read, understand and sign the documents your provider gives you, and ask them any questions about risks, recovery and costs before you decide.
- Follow your provider’s instructions, including how long to stay in Medellín before flying home.
- Arrange your own passport, visas and travel documents, and get travel and medical insurance that covers complications and medical repatriation. We recommend it.
- Be at least 18 years old and able to make your own decisions.
Risks of surgery and of travelling for surgery
Every surgery carries risks, including bleeding, infection, scarring, complications from anesthesia, blood clots and the need for more surgery. Results vary from person to person and can’t be guaranteed. Travelling soon after surgery, including long flights, adds risk. If a complication happens, you may need further treatment in Colombia or at home, which may not be covered by your provider or your insurance and may cost extra.
By using our service you confirm that you understand these risks and that you choose to proceed on your own responsibility, based on your provider’s advice.
Fees and payments
- Our concierge fee. Our concierge service has a single fee of $175 USD. You pay it only after your surgeon or medical team confirms you are eligible for surgery. It covers our coordination and support. It does not include surgeon, clinic, anesthesia, exams, medication, accommodation, transport or any other third-party cost.
- Providers. You pay your surgeon, the clinic and other providers directly, at their own prices and in their currency, and you should receive a receipt. Each surgeon sets their own consultation and surgery fees. We tell you the consultation amount before you book with a surgeon.
- Recovery House and partner services are charged at the rates in force when you book.
- Exchange rates and taxes. Amounts in USD depend on the current exchange rate. Taxes may apply.
Acceptance of the service, cancellations and refunds
Acceptance. Nothing is charged, and no obligation arises, until you accept our concierge service. You accept it by confirming in writing (including by email, WhatsApp message or any electronic means we provide) after we have explained the service and its fee and you have been confirmed eligible for surgery.
Immediate start of the service. By accepting, you expressly request that we start work immediately, and you acknowledge that our service is performed progressively and begins as soon as you accept: we reserve dates and appointments, coordinate with surgeons, clinics, transport and accommodation providers, and prepare your travel arrangements. This work uses our time and resources from that moment.
No refunds. For this reason, once you have accepted the service the concierge fee is earned and is not refundable, whether you later cancel, postpone, do not travel, change providers or decide not to proceed with a procedure, and whatever the reason. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law. It does not apply where we fail to provide the service for reasons attributable to us, in which case we will refund the part of the fee that corresponds to the service not provided, and it does not affect any right that cannot be waived under the law applicable to you.
Fees you pay to surgeons, clinics, airlines, hotels and other third parties follow their own cancellation and refund policies. We will help you contact them, but we can’t guarantee a refund from a third party.
Prices on this site

Communications and automated assistants
You agree that we may contact you by email, phone, video call and messaging apps such as WhatsApp about your enquiry and trip. Some answers on our channels may come from an automated (AI) assistant that provides general information about our service. It does not give medical advice and its answers can contain mistakes: please confirm anything important with our team.
Please use our assessment form for health information and photos, not email or chat. See our Privacy Policy.

Our responsibility
We are responsible for providing our concierge service with reasonable care and skill, and for the accuracy of the information we give about our own service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the medical care, advice, diagnosis, treatment, results or conduct of independent surgeons, clinics and other health providers, or for complications and outcomes of any procedure; for the acts or failures of airlines, hotels, transport companies and other third parties; or for events beyond our reasonable control, such as illness, weather, strikes, travel restrictions or government action.
Where the law allows a limit, our total responsibility to you for a claim about our service is limited to the concierge fee you paid us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can’t be excluded by law, including for fraud, gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or any right you have as a consumer.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and our services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute arising from them is submitted to the competent courts of Colombia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection right you have under the law of your country of residence.
